Today’s Paranormal Investigator Profile features Patrick Robinson with the Georgia Paranormal Research Society. Enjoy!
Where do you live?
To what investigation teams do you belong?
Georgia Paranormal Research Society. Would like to set up a small team focused solely on Haralson County, GA.
What made you want to be a paranormal investigator?
I’ve always been interested in the paranormal and supernatural, and discovered about 10 years ago the activity of paranormal investigation.
When was your first investigation, and what was it like?
Civil War cemetery and main city cemetery located in Jonesboro, GA. There were too many people there, so it was quite noisy and unorganized. The coolest (and creepiest) part was the fog rolling in while we were in the city cemetery.
What is your most memorable investigation so far?
Don’t really have one.
What is your dream investigation?
To do a lot of the sites in Pensacola, FL, especially the Saenger Theatre (for personal reasons); Stanley Hotel in Colorado; Alcatraz Prison.
What is your favorite method of investigating (i.e. EVP sessions, dowsing rods, etc.)?
Who do you look up to in the paranormal community?
No one I can think of.
What is your advice to people who want to get involved in paranormal investigation?
Do your research of the site you are investigating, and never let drama get in the way. “Leave the drama for yo’ mama.”
What do you do outside of investigating (family, hobbies, job, etc.)?
I work as an administrative assistant to the right of way department of a major civil engineering firm. I currently live with my parents, 7 cats, and 1 dog. Besides paranormal investigating and paranormal/supernatural studies, I am also into classic cartoons, computer games, reading, baking, and U.S. History.
