Jennie Barfield on 432 Abercorn

As if the photo submitted by Charlie Preston wasn’t intriguing enough, I recently received two photos from Jennie Barfield that seem to show the same little girl in the same window. Is it a trick of the eye? Is there something in the architecture of the wall or fireplace beyond that makes it look like a face? Or is it really the ghost of a little girl that keeps appearing in nearly the same spot? 432 Abercorn just gets curiouser and curiouser, as Alice would say.

Jennie had this to say when she e-mailed me:

“I try to remain skeptical about ghost stories but I saw something strange in a picture I took of the house and I wanted to share it with someone and get an opinion.  The image in the window looks very much like the Charlie Preston picture on your blog.  I dragged my husband on the Six Sense ghost tour and this was the first house we came to on the tour.  Again, I try not to let my imagination run wild but my camera batteries went dead when I first started taking pictures and I had to replace them.  It was spooky.  I’m sending you two photos, one shows a similar image as the Charlie Preston photo in the same window in the middle pane on the bottom and the second picture shows an image sort of in between the middle and right bottom pane.  I’m wondering if there is something inside the house creating this similar-looking image???  I mean other than a ghost  I don’t know…  Also, it looks like there is a bow or something in the girl’s hair but again maybe it is something inside the house just making things look that way.  Please let me know what you think.”

So what do YOU think? Note that the angle from which the photo was taken does change between shots. However, it definitely looks as if a face is looking at the camera in the first shot, but away from the camera in the second.

The face appears in the middle bottom pane of the right-hand window.
Now the face appears to be looking out to her left.

Remember, you can click on the photo to bring up the full size version so you can get a better look. Please comment and let me know your theories and thoughts!
